An Evaluation of Kant’s Transcendental Idealism Using the Inversion Theory of Truth

The Inversion Theory of Truth is a novel Truth Theory needed to replace the “Correspondence Theory” in order to properly understand knowledge, and the types of falsehood. Kant scholar Robert Hanna has called it a “neo-Popperian” truth theory, and I’ll take that as a compliment. Here, it is used to uncover flaws in Kant’s opus that were not obvious in the light of the Correspondence Theory. Of Clouds, Clocks and Free Will

In this paper, I will demonstrate that Free Will is a genuine, real property of the human condition. I will use as context an essay by Sir Karl Popper, “Of Clouds and Clocks”, which he presented at the Arthur Holly Compton Memorial Lecture at Washington University, St. Louis, on April 21, 1965.
